In this one-day workshop, students will learn how to choose warp yarns, calculate the amount of warp needed for a project, wind the warp onto a warping board, transfer the warp from the warping board to the loom, and wind onto a Rio Grande Style loom. Students will leave the workshop with the practical experience necessary to warp their own loom, as well as instructional text and mathematical formulas which will enable them to plan and execute their own projects.

• No previous weaving experience necessary
