In our 4-day Beginning Weaving Class, students learn how to design and weave a rug or blanket with a plain colored warp on a treadle loom. Beginning Weaving Class
In our 4-day Beginning Weaving Class, students learn how to design and weave a rug or blanket with a plain colored warp on a treadle loom. The course includes instruction in loom setup, planning and designing your weaving, learning weaving techniques on a Rio Grande Style floor loom, and mending and finishing your piece.
In addition to instructor-led, hands-on learning, each student will also receive a classroom workbook with historical background, weaving terminology, and practical instructions to be used as a guide during the class and beyond.

Our 4-day Tapestry Weaving Class is designed for students with basic weaving knowledge who would like to take their creative work to a new level. Students will gain experience planning their tapestry design, choosing the correct yarns for their design, and weaving with verticals, horizontals, and diagonals to create and take home their own finished piece.
