Shepherd's Lamb Yarns for Knitting

Rambouilletyarnheader.jpg

Here at Tierra Wools and Shepherd’s Lamb, we may be better known for our certified organic Churro yarns for weaving, but Shepherd’s Lamb 100% certified organic Rambouillet yarn is no less fantastic.  We make this yarn from the fleeces of our certified organic Rambouillet sheep, a fine wool sheep known for producing an exceptionally soft and lofty wool - the perfect fiber for any project where a softer yarn is preferred.  Though Churro yarns have long been the preferred choice for Rio Grande style weaving, they’re also a great option for any crafts where a sturdy long-staple yarn is desired, including knitted outerwear and felted projects.
