Los Ojos Handweavers, LLC TD Burns Building

On March 2nd, 1999, we completed the purchase of our 140 year old adobe building from Ganados del Valle, the nonprofit that helped Tierra Wools get started. This has been a long time goal that will mean a more stable future for our weavers, spinners and growers. This will allowed us to expand our display space, make better space for classes, add to our all year dye setup and make a more permanent space for photographing weavings for our web site. We wish to thank all the Ganados  Board members who worked to make this possible, as well as Ganados Executive Director Doug Spence. We also want to thank our own workers and investors who helped raise the money for the down payment, attorney, title and survey costs.

Funds are still needed to preserve this historic building.  The Roof Fund has been established to make the necessary repairs to the existing structure.   If you can donate to this fund, please contact Sophia DeYapp at 888-709-0979.
